Well, everyone is talking about it. The lake is almost gone now and hundreds have been flocking to see it. We made our trek out there a few days ago and found out how creepy it is to see the massive lake turned into a mud-hole. The Red Bank ruins are exposed as if a lake had never existed there and the dust is several inches thick. At first it is cool and then you start feeling creeped out. (Did we mention the sight is down-right creepy? I mean, really.) It makes you think about the times when folks died (and in many areas of the world still do) from drought. How bad does it become when even our modern miracles cannot save us when Mother Nature decides she's "Done Playin'". If we see the Mormon Island ruins it's time to head for Washington State and get our moisture from whatever apples remain on the trees there.

Next stop.. TIME FOR A RAIN DANCE!... to be continued...

Oh! And Happy New Year!
